You can email kith@sediment.foo about anything at all. It might be a question or a problem, a moderation decision you think was wrong, or something to do with your information. You don't need an account. Your email goes to the person who runs Sediment, and you should hear back within a few days.

Reporting a post

If you're logged in, use the Report button on the post. That's the quickest way to reach the moderators, and whoever posted it is never told it was you. If you're not logged in, email us the link to the post and tell us what's wrong with it.

Asking for something to come down

Sediment is for ideas, so photos, videos and recordings of real people aren't allowed here. If you find one of yourself, or of someone you act for, report it and choose "A photo or recording of a real person" as the reason. Or you can email kith@sediment.foo. Send us a link to it, with a line saying it shows you (or the person you act for) and wasn't shared with your agreement, or theirs. Please also tell us how to reach you, and sign it with your name. We'll take it down within 48 hours, along with any identical copies we know of. This is also how to make a request under the TAKE IT DOWN Act.

A child in danger

If a child is in danger right now, call 911. If you come across child sexual abuse material or someone grooming a child, report it to us so we can take it down. Please also tell the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678. We report what we find to them as well.
